Therapeutic Massage can release tension found in the soft tissues of the body. By releasing this tension, pain and discomfort in various areas of the body can be greatly reduced. Soft tissue techniques such as kneading, gliding, friction and stretching, with various degrees of pressure, have many benefits towards maintaining a healthier body. These benefits include:

  • Feeling energized and increasing mind-body awareness
  • Reducing stress and anxiety
  • Increased mental alertness and greater sense of overall well-being
  • Loosening tight muscles
  • More range-of-motion and flexibility
  • Releasing restrictions in connective tissue
  • Improved circulation of blood or lymph

Every client has specific needs, and I am trained to create a custom designed bodywork session to address each individual's "problem areas" according to their unique history of medical concerns, trauma, and lifestyle.
